Indianapolis’s IMAX is got to be the gayest place in the world. They have the audacity not to play the Matrix Revolutions on opening weekend. Are these cocksmokers for real? I don’t think they even comprehend how much money they are losing in this move. Not to mention all of the people like me who are freaking ticked off at them. Now I have to go see the movie on a normal size screen for the first time and then go see it on IMAX on a later date. It’s still gonna be sweet to see it on IMAX, but no movie is as good the second time. How awesome would it be to see the Matrix Revolutions for the first time on IMAX? I’m not patient enough to wait for them to bring it to Indiapolis though, because I want to see it badly. I guess the IMAX will have to wait.

Since everybody at U of I seems to be talking about their schedule, I figured I’d let you know about mine. I’ve got Calculus every day at 8:05, which blows unbelievably. Then physics, Intro to Logic and Design (for Electrical stuff), and some sort of programming class. Right now my schedule is cake, but after thanksgiving its gonna suck balls. Speaking of sucking balls, finals are in a week and a half.

I have managed to get my roommate addicted to Madden 2004. At the beginning of the year he didn’t play games at all, but now he plays 1-2 games of madden a day. I obviously don’t have a big problem w/ this, but he is very funny when he plays. He frequently feels that he “gets screwed by the game” and adamently yells at it. I think its hilarious b/c he doesn’t seem to understand that getting screwed over is the challenge to madden. He reminds me a lot of Al, who used to scream at my TV constantly when we played. My parents thought he had a anger management problem. At one point he actually stormed out of my house he was so mad. My roommate is not that bad, but he definitely gets irritated. I don’t understand how a game can be fun when you constantly yell at it. I personally don’t have any trouble winning on madden so its no issue w/ me. I just can’t understand why you purposely do something that makes you mad.

I got registered for my classes yesterday, like I said I would. It’s more hours than this semester, but I still think it’ll be alright. I’ll post it later, if I feel like it.

We have these things called MP’s in CS105. MP means machine problem. It’s basically just a bunch of freework coding where you are given the instructions and a problem, and you have to write code to figure it out. The past one was all in Visual Basic. Let me stress how lucky I was to have known VBA already. I had to write over 3 notepad pages worth of code for that thing. For just a little 50 point assignment. No one could figure it out, which I found funny. I even got called last night for help.

Let’s also not forget how lucky Jason is that we get to do these projects in groups, and I’m his group, and my computer still works, and I know VBA.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that when it’s 3rd and 3, you give it to Portis. You’ve got your 3rd string QB in, and yet you still decide to pass. Portis is averaging 4.3 yards a carry. I can’t believe the pitiful playcalling.

I finally understand the childhood bullies that beat up nerdy kids. There are an abundant number of nerds here at RHIT, including myself, but there are also a handful of ubernerds. Probably about 1/20 people fit the description. These people are about the equivalent of Steve Urkelel, minus is comic appeal, combined with a hobo. I have this primitive desire to beat the living crap out of some of these people. Of course, I would never act on these desires, nor do the cause a hate for these ubernerds. I really have nothing against them, except those that do not shower. I’m just finally realizing why bullies beat up the nerds. Most of you who read this probably have no idea what I’m talking about, but believe me, if you spent a large amount of time at RHIT you would understand. Honestly, I would not discriminate against any of thses people, but there is just something about them that makes me want to hit them. I don’t understand the desires; I just have a newfound empathy for bullies.

Just gettin’ a feel for the new digs. Gotta register for classes today, like Jared. My schedule is a little more pretty than his. It’s symmetrcial, which is nice. Matrix this week. Yay!

I just got done drawing up a schedule for the next semester. It’s going to suck. I’ve got 6 hrs of class on Monday & Wednesday, and 3 on the remaining days. Add it up, and it comes out to 21 hrs. Somehow, though, the school figures that out as 15 hrs of credit. That’s bullshit if I’ve ever seen it.

Time to sleep…. Ferris Bueller is on, so I may watch that first. Hehe.

Well, as we all know… I’m about one of the laziest ppl there is, which is apparent when it comes to how long it took my ass to get shouzer up.

Anyway, I’ve got quite a few homework assignments that I was planning to do over the weekend that I just didn’t do, because I’m a lazy bastard. I’ve only got one class tomorrow, though, which I may skip… So I shouldn’t have any real problem getting it all done. It’s just the idea that I actually didn’t do anything productive at all over the weekend.

Anyway, I hope you all have fun reading the site again. Things to come are the good ‘ol comments that we’ve always had. The search & archives functions which you see at the top. The forum will not be here for a long time, if at all. One new thing, however, that I’ll be implementing is a “shout out” section of the site. One the right side of the shouzer.com thing, I’m gonna put an array where anybody can say whatever they want, as long as they keep it short. Expect that shortly.

Well after many, many, many, many delays, the site has finally gone up in one form or another. Much of the site isn’t functional yet, but the basics are here. Chances are I’ll keep fuckin’ around with stuff for the next month or so until it’s more or less finished, but everybody can post now.
