I HATE the NFL Network

I was looking forward to this Sunday.  I really was.  All of those 7-8 teams in the NFC vying for the last playoff spot meant tons of drama today.  Instead, the whole thing was decided last night when the Giants beat the Redskins.  I’m not at all pleased that the Giants got the spot, but I’m really upset that it was decided on Saturday night instead of on Sunday afternoon.  It would have been much better if all the games were going on at once so that all of the games would at least seem to have significance.  These Thursday and Saturday night games need to stop.

i actually decided the same thing earlier this year when they had the broncos/chiefs thanksgiving day game on the nfl network. i’m sure it’s a good idea for them, as far as making money. however it sucks for consumers, as we don’t get access to the same games then.

the word i’ve heard is that nfl network will soon be a part of most expanded basic cable plans… until then, terrible idea for the fan.

I still say it’s a terrible idea regardless. Putting games on Thursday and Saturday takes something away from Sunday afternoons. Plus, it would really suck to have tickets to a Thursday night game imo. I left early from the Monday night game, and I still got home at about 3am. Seeing extra games is not worth losing the drama of Sunday.

you broke a “man law” by leaving that game early.

    *sigh* I know….

I just couldn’t stand to watch anymore after the Bears returned a second kick for touchdown.

they’ve been doing thursday and saturday games for years, though. that’s not really a result of the nfl network.
