Hautian Football

Joe, my roommate, took me to the annual Terre Haute North vs. South high school football game last night. South won, if you care. I didn’t, but I didn’t think I could write a post about it without mentioning who won.

I had kind of forgotten how slutty high school girls can be. It’s been so long since I’ve been to a high school event that I had just forgotten. Of course, last time I was at one, it was ok to look. This time, I had to walk around going, “Statutory, statutory, statutory.”

Speaking of statutory, there was this guy about 5 rows in front of us. He was probably in his mid to late 40′s, and he was with a girl who looked like she was about 16-18. I’m figuring this is his daughter, but then they start holding hands, kissing on the cheeks, and snuggling a little bit. Granted, it was nothing that would be inappropriate in a father/daughter relationship, but it would certainly be rare to see that kind of PDA. We spent the entire game trying to figure out whether it was his daughter or his girlfriend. Joe was going to ask in the 4th quarter, but then the game got really good. Plus, they got up and left with about 6 minutes to go. I really wanted to know too.
