Allofmp3.com. This is the place to be. It’s a site where you can download songs and pay by size. Here’s the kicker, though. They charge $0.02 / meg. That means the average song costs about 10 cents or so. Do you follow me here? This is amazing.

Another benefit is that for most of their songs, they let you pick the file format and quality. This is absolutely unheard of. For iTMS, it’s all about that DRM’d piece of shit aac they call a music format. Not at Allofmp3. Haha, no of course not. You want mp3? wma? ogg? mp4? mpc? lossless flac (we’re talking 20-40 megs of cd quality music)? It’s no problem. Now let’s say you’re an mp3 fan, as am I. You want cbr 128 kbps? 320 kbps? vbr 192 kbps (my fav)? It’s no big deal. Pick whatever you want. Then you download, and voila! You have the song on your computer to use however you like, BECAUSE YOU FUCKING BOUGHT IT AND IT’S YOURS.

Other online retailers seem to have a problem with the “if you buy it, it’s yours” philosophy. I’m a fan of it, though, so I choose Allofmp3. Now get over there and join.

I hate the Oscars. They’re a huge waste of time. Celebrities don’t do anything special. Normally, I wouldn’t care; I would just ignore them and go on with life. However, they happen to be hosted on my favorite night of TV. Sunday night on Fox is the bomb, and if you don’t watch it you need to reassess your priorities. So instead of Simpsons, Malcolm, Arrested, and Family Guy, they give us Independence Day.

On the up side, home is way better than school.

I swear, I hate other people using cell phones while they’re doing anything. I trust myself, because I’m not a dumbass. In fact, I trust just about anybody I actually know. But there’s enough morons out there that I don’t trust anybody else.

I was walking back from class today and this girl is on her phone. She’s stumbling around like she’s drunk, because I guess the person on the other end of the line was the almighty GOD of comedy. She actually bumped into me, and we were going opposite directions. How the fuck do you let that happen? I mean, it’s not like this is a busy metropolitan sidewalk. This was a sidewalk right near my dorm. I hate people like that.

After she bumped into me, that somehow made it funnier, too. Sometimes road rage almost seems like the right way to handle a situation.

I finished my 3rd of 4 finals this morning. Booyah. The last one is tomorrow at one. It’s probably gonna be my longest one, and possibly the hardest. Then it’s break time.

I’m a little frustrated because there’s a concert in Terre Haute this Friday. It figures that the week I’m gone is the week there’s actually something to do here. The concert isn’t worth staying around the extra day though. It’ll be good to be home.

I got my score for my first Differential Equations exam. I got a 60/65 on it, which comes out to about a 92%. I’ve got to admit that I’m pleasantly surprised to see that. I went into the exam feeling pretty good, but didn’t think it went that well. I suppose that’s one instance where it’s nice to be proven wrong.

We had to fill out these TA evaluation forms for our Physics discussion today. Now, my TA for that class is a badass. So I wrote that on the form. He gets to read them, and I figure I’ll let him know how I actually feel. I said he’s a badass TA, and certainly not a dick.

It seems like some TA’s are just fucking pricks, but he’s not. So that’s cool.

Staples has this 200 gig hard drive for $60. It’s probably too late to get one, but I think I’m going to head down there tomorrow and see if I can pick one up. That would put me up to 760 gigs. I’ll be pushing a terrabyte in no time. Booyah, bitches.

I had a good birthday weekend. I went out to eat, got some birthday stuff, ate some cake, got to the see the fam, and hung out w/ the gf. Good times were had by all. To that, I can attest.

I’ve been playing Halo 2 again lately. I’m definitely getting back into it. I’d more or less stopped over Xmas break, but now that that’s over, it’s back–with a vengeance. I wouldn’t say it’s exactly vengeful, but it’s got a vengeance, that’s for sure. Watch out for it when it comes around. It’s like the undertoe. It’ll just drag you deeper.

For some reason, finals just don’t seem like a big deal this year. I just don’t seem to care a whole lot.

I’d like to think that the reason is last semester my finals were worth butloads. However, I think the real reason is that I just don’t care any more. It’s a little scary, but it just doesn’t seem to matter if I get A’s or B’s or C’s.

On that note, it’s time to study a little more.

There’s just something magical about this week. I had my last major homeworks due on Thursday, and my last test was last week. So this week is cake. I skipped class this morning for the first time all quarter, and it was blissful. Sleeping through class is some much better than sleeping normally.

Of course, finals are next week, so the calm will end shortly, but for now, I’m enjoying the eye of the storm.

Well, people, I turned 20 today. I’m officially out of the teens. I can already feel the effects of old age. Haha, no I can’t. It’d suck if I could, considering the age..

Anyhow, booyah.

I pity the fool that missed FOX’s Sunday night comedy lineup last night. Malcolm was one of the best episodes I’ve seen this season. The Simpsons is always good. Then Arrested was one of the best episodes of the season too.

Arrested Development is a great show. If you’re not watching it, you should start. It might take a few weeks to understand all of the jokes, but I assure you that it will be worth it.

The only thing I didn’t like about last night is that they showing 24 comercials, and those things have tons of spoilers in them.

We had a home game early today at noon, which he had tickets to (we have season tickets), but unfortunately I was just feeling to sick to go. I still caught the game on TV, of course, but it sucks that I couldn’t go. It was our last big home game of the season, pretty much.

We won, though, so it’s all good. Luther put up something like 26. He had a good game. Powell and Dee both got into foul trouble–in fact, Dee actually fouled out. By that time, however, the game was pretty much over. He hit a couple big (and, as usual, *deep*) threes at key times.

It’s just really cool that Illinois is good while we’re here. I can’t get over that. We’re really lucky.

Pfizer is going after spammers because the spammers are giving them a bad name. The article’s not really funny, but I think the concept is. I had never really thought about spammers damaging the business of a drug that making penises hard.

So when I finished that last sentence, I went to dictionary.com to make sure that penises was spelled correctly only to discover that penis has 2 plural forms. The second of which is penes.

So now that I’ve written a lot about penes, maybe we’ll start getting some more hits from porn searchers. In a few weeks, you should go to google and search for penes. Maybe we’ll come up. It’ll be fun, I promise.

Anyway, back to the Viagra thing. I guess it makes sense when you really think about it, but it had just never occurred to me. I guess having a whole bunch of unauthorized people trying to sell your drugs would make it seem a little shady. Plus the spammers probably don’t pay the proper commission.

Fou Vrai couldn’t be stopped. I just dominated Knights of the Old Republic II. Of course, I was evil. I had to be. That’s where the real power is. Everybody knows the dark side is stronger.

I finished week 9 today. That means only one thing: One more week until finals. I can hardly believe it’s here. Sure, having to take finals is rough, but after that, I get a sweet, sweet break. Plus, this quarter has sucked majorly, and I’m ready for it to be over. I can just taste the freedom now….
