Blam, Biznitch!

I just took my Math 225 exam, Introduction to Matrix Theory or something like that is what the class is. Barring stupid mistakes, I stomped that test’s ass. It was quite possibly the easiest test I’ve taken in college.

Haha, now watch me have made a gajillion stupid mistakes and gotten a C on it or something. Either way, I feel pretty good about it. I was actually the first one to finish, too, which seems like a good sign. Maybe it’s bad, though, lol.

Hooty Hoo!

I got a 93 on my Physics exam. Well, I actually got a 96/108, which comes out to about an 89%. However, because the average was so low, the curve was pretty high. You don’t normally see an 89 getting bumped up 4 points. I’m definitely happy with that. Now I’ve got two exams left to take today. Both of them are Math. That sucks.

Physics Midterm

I had my first Physics 212 exam today. This is the Physics about electricity and magnetism, which is harder than kinetics, imo. The test was alright; I couldn’t have really done any better. I mean, I prepared for it and stuff. The test focused a lot on some of my weaker stuff, though, unlike many of the practice exams. Oh well..

There were a fuckton of people going to the test, though. It’s kind of funny. I think they said there was something like 1000 people enrolled in the class. So there were ~1000 people going to take the exam and the buses were actually pretty full. Everybody was doing their last minute cramming. Heh. I was just listening to my mp3 player. If it’s that late in the game.. I figure it doesn’t really even matter.

Discrete Math Revisited

We have another assignment. I worked on two problems (I have the others finished) from 7pm until 1am. I got neither of them finished. I’m at a loss. This class is absolutely ridiculous.

Semester Break

I don’t have to go to class for a week! This is the best news I’ve had in a long time.

On the downside, I’ve got an essay due when I get back. I should get to work on that so I don’t have to do it over the break.

Green Day Rawks the World

I just read a review of the new Green Day cd American Idiot, and I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. Let me quote part of this for your:

You see, American Idiot is not a good album. It’s not even a great album. No, American Idiot is Green Day’s masterpiece, their magnum opus, the indelible mark they have left on the music world forever. It is not only the best record of Green Day’s career, but I can say with the utmost certainty that American Idiot is the single greatest album I have heard in my entire life.

Damn right, bitches. So go buy the cd, because you know Green Day owns you.

Discrete Math is the Devil

School is horrible. That’s really all there is to it. I worked for about 6 hours on one CS 273 (Discrete Math) homework problem last night before I finally got the answer. And you want to know how I found the answer? Googled it, and it turns out that 2 years ago, Princeton CS 341 had the exact same problem due on October 9, 2002. So I looked at the solutions guide… I understand it now, but had no idea before then.

Presidential Military Debates

Bush and Kerry seem to both criticize each other’s military careers. Bush has his group of vets that attack Kerry. Kerry has his documents accusing Bush dodgin service. I’m a little curious to know what you guys think is the truth in all of this. Is Bush lying about Kerry? Is Kerry lying about Bush? I’ve had a little trouble keeping up with it from the other side of the planet. Personally, I think they’re both crappy candidates, regardless of their military background.

Fantasy Football

In our fantasy football league, I was the only one to score over 200 points this week. Booyah. It was our first week, and it’s looking hopeful for me. I love it. It’s also looking good for the Broncos, as I mentioned. That’s looking even better.

Woowoo!!

The Broncos won. Booyah. The Chiefs can’t handle it, and the Broncos are going to the playoffs. It’s cash.

NFL Kickoff

Technically, the season started Thursday, which was great. I mean, I love how they start the season a little bit early so you can get that taste of it.

However, the real, true kickoff is today. The first football sunday of the year. I only look forward to this every year less than two other things: Christmas break and summer break. Football is the best major sport and its season the best part of the year. Anybody who argues with that should be forced to watch it until they agree, which they will mind you. It’s only a matter of time ’til they realize it’s the greatest sport. Soccer? What’s soccer? Football. Oh, the irony.

Go Broncos.

Hiatus Over

I took a short break from the site just to do other things. I’m sure you’ve noticed that I haven’t posted/commented/shouted in a while. I’ve just been staying away from it for a bit. Sometimes a break helps you think of new things to write about.

Evesdropping

So on occasion I’ve heard some very interesting things that I’m not supposed to hear. I guess you could call it evesdropping, but I don’t think of it like that. In both cases I’m about to talk about, I couldn’t help but hear.

The first one was a few years ago, but I was reminded of it. I was on a bus while I was at kanakuk. I was sitting in front of this guy who nobody liked. He was explaining to the girl sitting next to him that he could always tell how people felt about him. Earlier, he had told us that he felt very accepted. This is ironic, because no one care for him much.

The second happened last weekend. This guy, who was a little drunk, would not stop talking. Then he started telling some girl how people should learn to shut up and enjoy the silence.

I found both of these funny, although I’m sure they aren’t as good second hand. I just think people say funny stuff some times.
